You can sell almost anything if you invest more time and energy on customer than yourself

When you saw a kid in your neighborhood trying to sell lemon juice in front of his or her house, what comes into your mind? How much money do you think the kid can make? Is it easier to sell lemon juice compare to the things that you are selling online? How much work and preparation has been done in order to sell lemon juice successfully. Do you think the kid loves selling lemon juice? Is it because of fun or for the money?

The most important question of all is how do you make sales? Waiting for customers to walk in and asking for a cup of lemon juice can be done by anybody but not the way to get sales. If you are hoping to get sales, you will have to be willing to do more. In order to do that you need to be in a proper mindset. You cannot be selfish and has to sacrifice your time and energy for customers. “Others are selling lemon juice too. Why should I purchase from you.” That is the most common question customers ask before they decided to spend their money. In order to gain sales, you will have to be unique or providing extra service to stand out from competition. You will have to think about your customers more than yourself. Doing so will make yourself think about the things or services needed by customers. The key is simply providing what is needed at the right time and at the right place.

There are a lot of things that you can do as long as you put yourself into customers’ position or point of view. Even a simple extra paper napkin or a clean attractive glass too can make a difference. Remember that a happy customer will be willing to pay more. Taking the extra step to please customers is always better than not doing anything at all.
