How do I reach my audiences?

That is the question almost every publishers think about every day. That is if they are seriously trying to make money online. That is the kind of question to think about. Check out the blog post title “Micro-Moments for Publishers: Reach your users in their moments of intent” from Google Inside AdSense. It seems that Google has done a good job in breaking down the audiences. Base on the analysis, it should be easier for publishers to decide the type of content to write.

Basically there are 4 types of moments we can target.

  • I want to know moments
  • I want to go moments
  • I want to do moments
  • I want to buy moments

These are the moments smartphone users turn to their phone for information and ideas. If you are seriously trying to pursuit for money making opportunities online, start thinking about it now. It might seem easy but actually not. Especially if you are trying to target smartphone users, the content needs to be short, accurate and straight to the point. Smartphone users won’t spend more than couple of minutes to read your content unless it is necessary. But if you are trying to create videos, the game play is a bit different. The video clips can be long or short depending on your purpose. If you are seriously into solving problems, simple and clear instruction is a must. If you are trying to be entertaining and funny, fresh new ideas and creative presentation is a must.
