I was one of those limited group of publishers that lucky to test out the new Google Adsense interface last November. Just after a month of testing and try out, Google Adsense has open up the new Adsense interface to all publishers globally. Now everybody can take a look at the new Google Adsense interface. I think you need to study and play around the new interface in order to get the information you required. It’s a big change compare to the previous interface.
The new Google Adsense interface is full with new features, data and statistics. The new interface is built based on publishers’ feedback. My first impression of the new Google Adsense interface is that it’s filled with figures detailed reports by ad type, ad size, ad unit, targeting type and bid type for total earnings. There are also displays of graphs that come along automatically. At the beginning it’s actually very confusing because there are so many figures and percentage all over the page. It will take you some time to learn how to get the information that you want as it’s totally different from the previous interface. Good news about the new interface is that publisher is able to monitor closely in details the performance of the blog or website in terms of the money make through Google Adsense.
The new Google Adsense interface also allows publishers to search for ads in the ad review center by ad type, keyword, URL and ad network, which allows publishers the option to block them easily. As all ad controls are now in one place, publishers are able to filter ads from specific advertisers, categories and ad networks. Publishers now have more control over the ads display on the blog or website.
Google Adsense new interface is design to let publishers manage account efficiently. Thus there are lots of changes and new features introduced. It will be better to check out the getting started guide to learn more about it. You’ll find lots of helpful information including videos, tour and forum to help you make full use of the new interface.
P/S: I think we will soon see some new eBooks created just to make some money out of the new Google Adsense interface.
